Below are the rules to make sure your contest submission will be counted:

1. 1. You must completely fill out the official contest entry form by September 7th, 23:59 EST, 2021.
2. 2. Your photo must include a 3D print, or a 3D model if you don’t own a 3D printer. The photo can have more than one 3D print, and it can be a photo you've taken before the contest began.
3. 3. You must have taken the photo yourself. Uploading a photo that isn't yours is strictly prohibited - including, but not limited to, any photos you
4. 4. Your photo must not be digitally enhanced. Creativity and talent with photo editing software is a wonderful skill to have, but there are many ways to tell a story without it or without a fancy camera.
5. 5. You must provide a valid email address in the contest entry form (this is how we will contact you should you win, and won’t be shared with anyone else).
6. 6. Only one contest entry is allowed for this contest.
7. Your story comment must be 70 words or less.   

Winner Selection: Our judges and judging panel will choose photos that best represent how 3D printing can positively impact our lives. This is a contest about creativity - not technical ability. So don’t focus on how perfect your print and photo is, focus instead on a photo and print that tells the best story.

Remember: All of our judges and guest judges use 3D printing in different ways, and will come with their own experiences, style, and sense of humor - so...be authentic. Tell a good story, and get creative with your picture and submission.

One of the unique aspects of this contest is that, in addition to our generous sponsors, we have over 60 creators and companies participating and contributing STL rewards to the prize pool. These include independent creators, small teams, and larger companies of all sizes.  

Contestants have a chance at winning as much as $360 worth of STLs from 3-12 different companies. These prizes are given starting from 1st place until 15th place, until all of the vouchers have been awarded. If you only select 3 or 4 companies you’d like files from, your preferred prize vouchers might be taken already - so selecting 15 creators will make a big difference if you do win.
